I think human beings need purpose. We need to create meaning, and we should build a society that supports most people creating meaningful work on their own, in cooperatives, and other collective organizations where workers who create the work get the profits. End the theft by the rich through the magic hand of shareholders stealing from workers.
For me the horror show of American capitalism is the number of bullshit jobs people have to work, and the conceit that the rich are doing us a favor creating work for us. Walk by every human being and you will see someone like you who is going to die, and someone who wants to make a contribution.
