Art by award winning artist and designer humanist and friend Dugald Stermer.  Fastball and Curveball art by Nancy Angel.

The artist Dugald Stermer created the 1984 Olympic medals, was art director for Ramparts Magazine, illustrated the banner for The New York Magazine and many other projects over his lifetime.

When I walked into his studio on the Embarcadero in San Francisco, he had 6 acoustic guitars hanging on his walls, and two or three easels for his art.  I looked at one and he was illustrating Neil Young's face for a story in Rolling Stone Magazine.

We were working on the Salmon poster I made for Ted Wolf @ Ecotrust.

I needed to visit to show Stermer what I meant by the word "anadromous." Only a few fish like salmon flow from fresh water to the sea and back again.

As we were wrapping up, I saw the Anatomy of the Baseball on the wall by the door and the rest was history.

Order anytime @ Metsker Maps for $24+ one set of these great baseball grips and Anatomy of Baseball.
